All Volunteer Meeting!! — 23 Feb 14

At high noon the NMMC held an All Volunteer meeting. Over 20 folks came to learn about current animal care protocols, legal volunteer requirements, and NNM C policies. Gregorie (aka “Gigi”) Released 2 pm 9 Nov

A happy Harbor Seal Pup since she became our patient almost two months ago, Gigi was successfully reintroduced to her ocean home this afternoon. Gulls were seen to welcome her home and many of us saw her smile in thanks to the volunteers as she bobbed, swam out, and then disappeared into a gloriously sunshine packed November afternoon. Fun 5k Fundraiser a Success!

Today we 'ran' the Fun 5k! We were graced with perfect running/walking weather. 47 participants completed the course and many others came and volunteered to support the Center and/or their athletes. It was unanimous: A good time was had by all! Complete race results will be posted on the Center's website and Facebook by early this coming week.
